Dear MnAEYC Members,
As we begin the transition from winter to spring, I find myself reflecting on this season as one of growth, renewal, and reimagining. Just as the landscape around us begins to shift, so too does our work—inviting us to think differently about our roles, our impact, and how we continue to show up for children, families, and one another across Minnesota.
This spirit of renewal is especially evident as we approach the close of our MnAEYC Board Elections. Voting will close this week, and I strongly encourage you to take a few moments to cast your vote if you haven’t already. Your voice plays a critical role in shaping the leadership and future direction of our organization. We look forward to sharing election results with you next month.
Looking ahead, I hope you will join us for our Summer Leadership Institute on June 18. This one-day experience is designed to inspire, connect, and strengthen early childhood leaders across the state. It’s always a highlight of the year and a wonderful opportunity to engage in meaningful learning and community.
We also continue to offer a strong lineup of webinars to support your professional growth. These sessions are free for members and available to non-members for $20. All participants who attend live receive a certificate of attendance, making these an accessible and valuable way to stay connected and continue learning.
Thank you for your continued commitment to MnAEYC and to the field of early childhood education. It is an honor to serve alongside you during this season of growth and possibility.
With appreciation,
Jodie Riek
President
Minnesota Association for the Education of Young Children (MnAEYC)
