Esko Community Education is accepting applications for multiple part-time School Age Care Assistant positions starting in the Fall of 2026. Applicants are required to have a high school diploma and experience working with school age children. Assist Cool Kid’s Coordinator in providing a quality school age child age care program. Program Assistant helps provide activities that offer a fun, safe, caring environment that fosters recreational, social, educational, and developmentally appropriate experiences that compliment a child’s school day.


Adults: $18.96 per hour – up to 16 hours per week

Students: $14.64 per hour (hourly rates subject to change with renewal of contract)

Child Development Center Director


Reporting to the Director or Programs, the CDC Director will provide overall leadership and management for the Child Development Center. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the center, ensuring compliance with state licensing requirements, maintaining high-quality early childhood education, supervising staff across all classrooms, and fostering a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children from infancy through school age. The CDC Director will also serve as the primary liaison with families, promoting strong partnerships and supporting child growth and well-being.


Qualifications Required

  • Meets Director qualifications per state childcare licensing

  • Minimum 2–5 years experience in early childhood education

  • Supervisory or leadership experience in a childcare or school setting

  • Strong knowledge of licensing regulations and child development

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills


This full-time, salaried position pays between $50,000 - $60,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
