Adventures Plus is a child care program providing before and after school care for elementary age students and is located in various elementary schools throughtout the District.
Duties for this position include standard Site Leader duties plus additional Inclusion Site Leader duties, such as: coaching and mentoring staff on implementing a child's Inclusion plan, tip sheet, or health plan; assisting staff in adapting activities to allow active participation of all children; and more. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree (60 college credits)/Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA); and 1 year (2080 hours) of experience working with children -OR- 24 credits/240 training hours in Areas of Training/Credit listed below PLUS 2 years (4160 hours) of experience working with children in Out of School Time (OST).
Areas of Training/Credit: Social Emotional Development; Approaches to Learning, Language, and Literacy; Cognitive Development; Creativity / Arts; Family Studies; Child Guidance; Physical Development / Health / Safety; Special Education; Child Development
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with traditionally marginalized communities preferred.
Rate of Pay: $20.13/hour and up DOQ
